This Privacy Policy explains what information Rovek Studio ("Rovek", "we", "us", or "our") collects across our websites, products, bots, and services — including phonetix and any other brand or product we currently operate or launch in the future (collectively, the "Services") — and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

Depending on which Service you use, we may collect:

• Account & contact info — name, email address, Discord username or ID, and similar identifiers you give us directly.
• Application data — anything you submit through a staff or role application, including age, availability, and experience.
• Product usage data — webhook payloads, call/ring events, and similar data that a product like phonetix processes to do its job.
• Billing data — for paid tiers, our payment processor (Stripe) handles and stores your payment details directly; we receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status), not full card numbers.
• Technical data — standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and any analytics we use.

2. How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
• To respond to support requests, staff applications, and other messages;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions for paid tiers;
• To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues;
• To communicate with you about changes to a Service that affect you.

We don't sell your personal information.

3. Third parties we share data with

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate, including:

• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for our sites;
• Discord — where a product delivers notifications or a community is hosted;
• Stripe — payment processing for paid tiers;
• Formspree (or a similar form processor) — handling submissions from forms like our staff application.

Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy. We share only what's needed for that service to do its job — we don't sell data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Staff applications specifically

If you submit a staff application, the information you provide (name, Discord username, age, contact info, and anything else you include) is used solely to evaluate your application and, if accepted, to onboard you to a role. If your application isn't accepted, we may retain it for a reasonable period for record-keeping before deleting it, and you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time — see Section 7.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for — operating a Service, resolving a support request, evaluating an application, or meeting a legal obligation (such as billing records). We delete or anonymize data once it's no longer needed for those purposes.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but as a studio that runs its own infrastructure, we treat this seriously and respond quickly if something goes wrong.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@rovek.app — we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

8. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. Certain roles and features (see our Staff Requirements) carry higher minimum ages of their own. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be called out where reasonable.
